Dolphoxide

A fork of KDE's Dolphin file manager with a zoxide-powered jump to any folder.

C++ · Qt 6 · KDE Frameworks · CMake

Dolphoxide is an unofficial fork of Dolphin, KDE's file manager, that adds a Ctrl+J popup for jumping to folders ranked by zoxide, by how often and how recently they're visited. Every folder browsed in Dolphoxide is fed back into zoxide's database, so it ranks alongside the ones visited from a shell. A global shortcut opens a separate quick window for grabbing a file and closing it again, and a patched build of KDE's xdg-desktop-portal brings the same jump to the Save and Open dialogs of browsers and Flatpak apps. The fork is kept up to date with upstream Dolphin releases by a merge script, and is packaged for Arch Linux. The popup itself lives in libjump, a small shared Qt library with a stable ABI that Vellum and Vitrine use too.
